Location: Major real estate hub such as Madrid (preferred), Lisbon,
Milan, or another key European / South European property market
Reports To: Managing Director, Real Estate Division
About the Company
The company is part of a diversified Icelandic investment platform active
across private equity, infrastructure, and sustainable asset classes.
Its real estate division focuses on acquisition, development, and value
creation in commercial, industrial, and mixed‑use properties across Europe.
By combining financial expertise, project management capability, and long‑term
capital, the company identifies and develops high‑potential real estate assets in key regional markets.
Purpose of Role
To identify, negotiate, and manage real estate transactions and
development projects under the company’s real estate platform.
The Real Estate Dealmaker will originate opportunities, structure partnerships, and oversee projects from concept to completion, contributing directly to the
growth and profitability of the real estate portfolio.
Responsibilities
• Source and close real estate acquisition, sale, and development
opportunities.
• Negotiate commercial terms with sellers, buyers, and investors.
• Prepare financial models, valuation analyses, and investment proposals.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, and contractors through planning and
execution.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and compliance.
• Work with financial institutions and investors to secure project financing and structure partnerships.
• Track and report project performance, ROI, and market trends to management.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Number and value of deals sourced and closed
• Project ROI / IRR vs. targets
• Timeliness and accuracy of project reporting
• CLIENT and investor satisfaction
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, real estate, or engineering
(Master’s preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in real estate investment, brokerage, or development.
• Proven deal‑closing track record in commercial or mixed‑use assets.
• Strong understanding of property finance (IRR, DCF, CAPEX, NPV).
• Active network of property owners, developers, institutional investors, and
agents in key European markets.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
