Contract Length: 9 months

For our trusted CLIENT we are looking for a freelance a
Business Analyst to join the team while their analyst is on a maternity leave.
This person will Initiate, Plan, Control, Execute, and Close project
deliverables following company‑prescribed process to ensure business objectives
are met within the Post Sales Salesforce space. You would join
the Information Technology team and help positively impact the business
through leading technologies, exciting and challenging enterprise projects, and
new platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participates
    in implementation/enhancement projects for Salesforce using Agile
    methodologies
  • Partners
    with process owners and business users on requirements and practices
  • Playing
    a key role in the entire project lifecycle from requirements to go‑live
  • Gathers
    and documents user stories using interviews, requirements workshops, site
    visits, business process flows, use cases, and scenarios.
  • Provides
    knowledge, guidance and industry best practices towards solution design on
    the Salesforce platform
  • Works
    with architects and developers to transform requirements into Salesforce
    features
  • Participates
    in unit testing and system integration testing to validate development
    meets business requirements
  • Prepares
    for user acceptances testing by writing test scripts and organizing test
    data for end users.
  • Leads
    user acceptances testing events including managing/documenting bugs and
    enhancements resulting from testing
  • Coordinates
    between development team and end users for bug retesting and resolution
  • Prepares
    and provides demos as required to business process owners and other key
    stakeholders
  • Supports
    Project Managers with identifying risks, issues, and overall status
    updates
  • Collaborates
    with other IT teams across the company including ERP, Security, BI, Master
    Data Management, etc


Requirements

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s
    Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum
    of 5 years of Business Analyst experience required
  • Minimum
    of 2 years of Salesforce project experience required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce
    Administrator or Salesforce Business Analyst certification
  • 5
    years of experience with Project Tracking software such as Jira, Azure
    DevOps, or Microsoft Project
  • Experience
    with DevSecOps principles
  • Experience
    with modern software development principles including code management,
    test automation, APIs, microservices, and cloud services

Position Criteria

  • Intermediate
    understanding of cloud software applications (SaaS), integrations,
    database‑driven applications, network and application security.
  • Intermediate
    understanding of integration and dependencies of involved systems globally
    for a division or function.
  • Ability
    to communicate and present project status to immediate management and
    stakeholders.
  • Basic
    understanding of Scrum/Agile
